Are bars closed Saturday & Sunday 22 & 23 ?

Hi Guys

please forgive the jumping into the HH subforum, I'm usually most active in the motor & travel forums. Just arrived in HH today and went a walk tonight to check out the bar areas. Word on the street is that bars are to be closed Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd until 00.00hrs due to elections.

This from several sources yet I'm unable to find any reference at all on the i/net in any forums or anywhere.

I'm only here for 3 nights.

Can anyone throw any light on this please?

The Elections have been set back yet again im told ,unless its to pick a new local parasite. Im off to Krabi in a few mins so I hope that's right.

Its rather annoying,all this Not Sure stuff. I've had Chums do a Stop over,and they have been disappointed we couldn't have a Lads Night Out, after not meeting up for Years.So Dam stupid,where i live here no one takes any notice,but Holiday Places have Little Jobsworth Folk about.
