Pandis Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Hello. I´m going to stay little bit less than one month in Koh Samui, I could really use some recommendations were to look for and how much they would cost. Going to stay there from middle of June to middle of July. I´ve would like to have double bed, A/C, terrace, fridge, hot water, western toilet, even if possible near to beach or even view to beach. I´ve heard even prices low than 5000 baht (about 100€) per month with these same requirements maybe with different location and view. So have I heard right or not? I have no idea about the exact location or side of the Koh Samui so hints where to stay are welcome also. How about the safety if I´m going to leave for couple nights somewhere else and leave some valuables to my room maybe wisest thing is to put them to the safety deposit for that time. Thank you already for anyone who can give me some hints or help me. Regards Pandis
PoorSucker Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 This depends on where on Samui you want to stay. I live in Chaweng about four minutes with motorbike to the beach. Here the price is 18.000 bath per month. Its with two rooms, bar kitchen, double bed, AC, Cable TV and Pool. The price 18.000 is if your only staying one month, of course you pay less if you stay longer. PM me if you want more info.
pyros Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 I always stay in a bungalow for 1 month . Like you said , 1 bedroom with aircon , bathroom with western toilet and hot water and living room with kitchen with cable tv . It is not sea view , but in Lamai and the pricerange of these are between 8000 and 12000 p/m . You can find them for 5000 probably if you go outside ( less touristic) , but chances are that you don't have hot water or AC in bedroom .
suegha Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 My bungalow is in Plai Laem 2km from Big Budda and 2km from Choeng Mon beach (the best beach on the island!) It's 2 bed, kitchen, AC in main bedroom, hot water in the bathroom, walled and secure with great neighbours. 10,000 baht per month is what I charge. You won't get cheaper unless you are way off the beaten track and it's very unlikely you'll get hot water and AC. If you are interested, pm me.
mikeybee Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 pandis your looking between 12-14000bht a month for a one bed bungalow furnished with a/c and hot water in the chaweng, lamai and bophut areas.
SamuiJens Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 You can get a house like you want in Bang Rak, for 8k mo, or less.
