I just heard an immigration office is going to open in Kalasin, does anybody know anything more about it?

We have 50+ foreigners working at my university only 45 km. from Kalasin. It would be a great development (vs. 75km to Khon Kaen). I'll have our university international office check out the rumor. Wow, what a far cry from the days when we had to travel to Nong Khai and (worse) Mukdahan.

yeah did catch the rumor a couple of months ago from the famed instution of advanced learning the thursday SUPAK great stuff if it happens Did you hear the one about macro mind you that one is well into six month ago

What university is that, and are the 50 foreigners mostly Filipinos?

No Filipinos teaching here. Why?

Roughly about 5 Americans, 4-5 from the U.K., 15 Europeans, 1 Canadian, 1-2 South Africans, and the rest from Japan, China, Korea, and Vietnam.

Don't want to name the university and blow my cover. However--c'mon, you're unaware of a university with 50,000+ students nearly in your back yard? You need to get out more, friend! Ha.

Maybe not just a rumor. When I did the one year extension in Sakon Nakhon in december last year the officer said a new office would be opened in Kalasin this year.
