I hear you. The smart ones are staying away from them, but that still leaves quite a few brainwashed idiots, who can be manipulated to do almost anything. Their true colors will show soon. Hopefully then the military will take action and restore some sanity

God your thirst for blood is disgusting.

The PDRC/Yellows have diminished to a few peasant farmers in a park and the reds seem to be equally unpopular. There is total apathy towards politics just now in Thailand.

Unbelievable people like yourself are still gunning for a military coup, and the violence needed to proceed it facepalm.gif

The sad reality of some of the nutters and Thaksin haters on the TVF.

Says the number one Abhisit, Suthep hater?coffee1.gif

Wrong, of course, but never mind............

Onwards and upwards with Thailand's efforts towards democratisation.

Surely you would agree to that ?

500 000, 200 000, and now 60 000 does this include the rented Burmese?

Have you forgotten the 5.8 millions Suthep claim he hard it from BBC?

Posted

Well, if they think, they will get 60000, it must be from Isaan, because in Chiang Mai, yesterday, for their big rally, there were only about 15 people, at the Three Kings Monument, downtown rolleyes.gif

Chiang Mai used to be a Red Stronghold

So did Korat, but no longer.

When they held their meeting to celebrate the murder of children, there were not that many and they were lucky not to get their butts handed to them by the locals who were pissed at their presence.

The reds are diminishing fast, all that crap from the UDD is in fact just that..... crap.

Unfortunately it would seem like violent crap and prepared to bring down the house if they don't get their type of 'democracy'.

Well rubl, you are a long time yellow shirt supporter and I guess you are now rooting for the PRDC. Which means you do not want democracy in this country and you support the people who will bring down the house to get their appointed government.

Suthep, secretary general of People's Democratic Reform Committee, will hold a meeting of PDRC leaders from across the country to map out the next move on national reform, at Lumpini Park on Saturday.

1000 baht he`ll declare a "final push," any takers?

From 500,000 to 60,000 in two days. Makes one wonder what tomorrow's tally will be like. Thank goodness Jatuporn's bluster generally runs at about ten times the speed of reality.

I was hoping for a nice turnout in beautiful weather.giggle.gif

The strange part about him is he will occasionally post some really good information on the Chiang Mai forum. For some reason he is completely missing the boat at the national level.

I know that there was a lot of business owners who did not like Abhist. I wonder if it had any thing to do with the fact that when he was elected corruption was rising very fast and he managed to hold it. Now it is on the rise again.

Let's see here now Yingluck was elected in August of 2011 screwed up the handling of the flood and kept saying give me six months. In the mean time the corruption started rising again. in 2013 it rose 2%. today she is still out of touch with reality. She is wide open to any thing that is corrupt. She doesn't believe it is corrupt because her brother said it was OK.

It would be nice if the police confined the red shirts to their rally grounds but they all work for the same individual. For sure they will keep anti red shirt protestors out a lot better than they did keeping the red shirt's out of the anti government protests.

Gee I wonder why?coffee1.gif

I think in the circumstances there is considerable justification for considering that Thaksin and his clan are a menace to this country, The use of the word 'hater' which seeks to emotionalise and downgrade the facts is all your creation. The sad reality is that you and people like you are the nutters and a sad reflection of this community.

The problem with those that oppose Thaksin is not that they view him as a menace to the country - there is a good case for that he is (although it has little to do with "corruption"). Rather, the issue is that they have allowed their loathing to rise to a level where they are willing to roll back all the hard-won democratic developments of the 90-ies and early 2000:s just to keep Thaksin or the PTP away from power.

The thais are killing each other in the streets and most wouldn't give 2 shits about Thailand's political situation. So why do falangs seem to be so concerned?????

Fear of having to admit the dream, ain't all it's cracked up to be?

Posted

I suppose it's tough to get a big red crowd when they're not being paid. Thaksin must be running low on cash, or finally figured out it's a waste of money. He's probably building a nice guest house for his sister in one of his new adopted countries.

One interesting point here is that CAPO is denouncing the "instigation of violence" by the protestors after the shooting and killing on Tuesday. Does anyone remember CAPO denouncing anyone else for instigating violence against the protestors? I remember nothing. Another instance of bias?

Is it true, as alleged in the Bkk Post, that National Police Chief Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew has defected and is no longer prepared to render total obéissance to Shin clan members?

I wonder if the last cheque bounced.

At least they should still be able to rely on Metropolitan Police Chief Pol Gen Kamonrit. The photograph of Thaksin pinning the insignia of his new rank on him in HK made his so nauseous to the opposition they wouldn't take him at any price.

If Adul has really defecated on defected from the Shinawatra family, we should expect to see spikes laid on all the major highways coming from Isaan and the North. No need to derail the trains. They derail spontaneously.

It is starting to sound like the Wars of the Roses.

1.4 million farming families are also running low on cash after being bilked in the rice pledging scheme. Perhaps that was the government's shrewd strategy - to make sure they had no money for the next rice planting, so that they would have no choice but to take the work offered as rent-a-mob.

This country needs help from the outside world. Thais alone can not solve it.

It will rain rose petals before that happens. The entire nation (no matter what color) will never admit their failure to ‘outsiders’ as that would mean the smart, brave and glorious nation, the center of the universe, the hub of hubs, would collectively lose face.

No way!! The outside world wouldn't get a work permit, anyway i don't think the outside world is particularly bothered.

The sun is setting on Red Shirt ideology and it will continue to diminish as a practical solution to anything.

The big question is who and what will fill the vacuum created by the collapse off sheer stupidity.

True. It's why mass gatherings of red shirts is worrisome, to say the least, while the country tries to stay at peace.

I wonder what the red excuse will be if it's a poor turn out?

We had the excuse before it even started ''It's just a rehearsal' Jatuporn started saying when he realized the numbers would be far below his boasts, even when they rented all those Burmese to get more people and they are all paid to be there this is the best they can do. And notice how widely spaced out they are in many of the tv shots to try and make it look like there are more people than there really are. To quote the red sheeple brigade 'It's just 3 old grannies'

Terribly sorry and all that old chap, but your assumptions are way off. In more way than one even.

What is interesting though is that you equate 'yellow shirt / PDRC' supporter with 'do not want democracy'. Slightly disappointed you didn't mention 'democracy = election', but never mind.

I saw k. Jatuporn on television today. Big banner with slightly off (justice) scales. Lots of Thaksin pictures, red-shirts with Yingluck/Thaksin. I guess that means that many there want justice to be done and seen done on the criminal displayed and his darling sister.

The title of this thread is so telling - "Police prefer to contain red shirt rally", yep, it should only take about 10 police guys to contain it.
