Oh my god! What a loser! This idiot reminds me of the kid in class who always got beat up because he would tattle tale to the teacher about everything! But you going to them and whining like a little b%tch just makes this PTP government look worse than it already is. bah.gif

Another irrelevant post from the yawning Binj.

The story was published by Khaosod and has been discredited as sensationalist. No other paper reported him having said what they have reported him as saying.

The US, and all other ambassadors have the means to check the reality of this themselves; they don't need some spoiled brat running to them with fabricated stories...!

They are the ONLY ONES that gave us, Khun Foreigners the PR's as they all know that we support and take care of the Thai labour force, be it large, medium or small.

The Dems never and ever did this for us when they were is power, for us Khun Farangs.

I'm just guessing, but when Surapong was a school boy was he by any chance the most unpopular kid in his class ? And if so, has he ever gotten over it ? There he goes again - running to the teacher - who frankly at this point is likely exasperated to the point of just wanting to send him to the school counselor. Let him deal with the complexes. He can start with putting Surapong on daily facial muscle stretches, and perhaps he can increase his emotive repertoire to two. One can only imagine what life must be like at the other side of a Surapong exchange. At least one would appear to be breathing. For sure at least one would be thinking. Without question, Suthep has opened himself up for attack for his careless remarks. And as we can see, Khaosod has just jumped into the pool. It just wouldn't be the same without Khaosod. And naturally, they're there to record every word of Surapong, while they prefer to refer to a Tolkien thesaurus when quoting Suthep. At this point, fiction is just more interesting than facts. Just ask TMZ. And so we're now embarked on an odyssey where people of the dubious integrity of Nattawut " I will take responsibility, my brothers " Saikua gets to point fingers at a man who happens not to be openly campaigning against the judicial system of checks and balances. I love it how Thaksin makes a point of trying to tie Abhisit into all of this. Two birds with one stone, as they say.

Let's indulge Surapong for a minute, just for the fun of it. Let's just say he is successful in every endeavour - he manages to get the whole of the Western world on side against the PDRC, Abhisit and the Democratic party as they all presumably think and talk alike. In fact, let's just get rid of the whole protest movement. Now what ? What about the courts ? What about the constitutional and impeachment proceedings ? Oh, I forget. The UDD is taking care of that.

He got his position within the PT Government because of his outstanding work in international circles where he was lauded widely for his honesty and tact. Oh no, wait, that's wrong. He got his position solely cos he does as he is told, cos he's Thaksin's cousin (in-law?) and through nepotism, the thing that PT are supposedly fighting against.

Maybe Surapong can tell us where all the Red Shirts were hiding last weekend?

Looked liked about 5,000 showed up.

Not the 500,000 that they were expecting.

I guess they thought photographing down the line at ground level would make the crowd look bigger ?

Based on the amount of crap those people left behind there must have been well over 500,000 there.

Taksin got away with this kinda rubbish with Bush and Rumsfeld because Taksin joined the war on terror.

Some one should tell Surapong / Taksi that Osama bin Laden is dead & Bush is no longer President of the USA.

2. If what Suthep said is treasonous, why haven't you arrested him yet?

He has 2,000 armed guards helping him out (so the reports say) and they are all camped out in a Park in Bangkok, Rama 4 road, Lumpini (spelling) ?

Win

From what all the red supporters here on TVF say there is only a couple of old ladies, in wheel chairs, supporting him.

Do you think this 2000 armed security force is present and on guard for him 24/7? Have you seen 2000 security people around him ever? The most I have seen is about 30 in his last protest march.

I am not sure how many Royal Thai Police there are, but I would imagine it is in the 100's of thousands. I would think that would be a sufficient force to apprehend this treasonous bastard.

I am not a Suthep supporter by any means, in fact I wish I can see this arrest happen, But up until now, he has done nothing but embarrass CAPO, the DSI and the RTP. He is like a modern day Thai version of Billy the Kid.

The US assistant secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel Russel and US ambassador Kristie Kenny met the caretaker deputy prime minister at the Defense Ministry today during his visit to Thailand to hear briefing of the current political situation.

And they answered.... Well we are a bit busy now. Where is Pol Pot land??? We might need some places for R and R ... now run along there... be a good boy.

AS IF THEY CARE what really happens in ting tong land. As if I care .. it just makes my day less boring after work reading such childish antics and makes me think my staff are a whole lot better...

PDRC mentioned AFTER the caretaker PM might have to step down and 'the people are supreme'.

And the USA and all the ambassadors around the world are expected to do what?

K Surapong, this is Thailand. This is internal to Thailand and will affect nobody else in the world so why should the world care?

Deal with it yourself assuming you have the power to do so and also assuming anybody listens to you.

The free world cares when it loses one of it's own to dictatorship.

But when the world see's that a dictator is pretending to be a democracy, which has now been proven in Thailand that PTP are not democratic Government

The free world cares that they have a dictator in sheep clothing

Another one who thinks he know's better than all world leaders together.

Actually the mention was 'guards' only, not 'armed guards' although I wouldn't be surprised if some guards would be (heavily) armed. It seems even the more righteous UDD leaders feel the need for armed guards, allegedly that is of course rolleyes.gif

I don't know why so many posters are getting upset about this. Its entirely normal diplomatic protocol to inform the ambassadors of other nations certain events that impact the host nation - an act of Treason is probably one such event. As there was a very senior member of the US Govt visiting Thailand, again its normal procedure that a meeting is arranged with senior Govt and diplomatic officials. I'm certain that the US would be very well informed of the political status from their own sources anyway, but at Govt level certain protocols must be followed. No big deal.

We all know why so many posters are getting upset, don't we ?

Still waiting for a link from diehard, who claimed the opposite. Also the PDRC denied, and Pheu Thai spokesperson Prompong is alleging, Nattawut is demanding and the pro-government supporters here are distracting and obfuscating.

Just to be fair of course, allegedly and so.

Yes indeed! It's because some can see Ms. Yingluck being ordered to step down by the CC and those seem to fear losing a battle even with the enormous numbers of peaceful fighters UDD chief Jatuporn promised us after Songkhran.

Yes, but Surapong doesn't follow - probably doesn't even understand - diplomatic protocols. That's why foreign correspondents and members of the international press in Thailand have been receiving unprecedented notices of dissent and disapproval from professional members of the Foreign Ministry under the rubric 'Voice of Saranrom'.

He's considered an embarrassment and totally unprofessional by his own civil servants.

Please show us some of that notices, because you yellows never come up with evidence, only blablabla

Surapong's relatives in Chiang Mai are so embarrassed by his amateurish stupidity that they are considering changing their names.

Wish that were true.

This is all part of PTP's attempts to spin and twist things so people here believe the US and others support them; to try and condition people into believing that all the courts and independent agencies are biased so please don't believe any judgments against us; and to justify their planned use of the police and red shirt men in black militia to cling on to power by force.

Thaksin has no intention of giving up and no intention of trying to fight in court where he knows the evidence will condemn them. His only option is to provoke a coup or respond to court ruling with violence. Evil at its worst.

Posted

Main lie: Surapong tells US of Suthep's declaration of himself a sovereign.

Plus we have some of the usual propaganda supporters believing this lie which was only reported in Khaosod. The Bangkok post's article was rather more credible. The only new opinion from Suthep is that he wants to appoint the interim PM after YL is removed (if) as caretaker PM.

As for Surapong 'informing' the US or any one else - they know full well where he is coming from. The head of the ICC in the Hague basically told him to go away and let the Thai courts sort out the aftermath of the 2010 riots. He is nothing but Thaksin's delivery boy and has failed every time he tries to get any of the international community to condemn Suthep's protests.

He, along with the likes of Chalerm, is nothing but an embarrassment to Thailand. Oh and Kittirat is telling more lies to the IMF & World Bank at the same time. Another embarrassment.

I could just see these two US officials looking at each other in total bewilderment. Then asking two questions to the FM.

1. What does this have to do with us and why do we care?

2. If what Suthep said is treasonous, why haven't you arrested him yet?

In fact, the US is quite interested in understanding the domestic politics of key regional allies. This is part and parcel of consular work for most nations... acquiring information about local trends and emerging issues because they might affect national interests. Just check the diplomatic cables released by Wikileaks. Go there and search on Thailand (I will not link the cables here because there is often mention of members of the royal family)... you can see that some of the information even approaches 'soap opera' quality.

Actually, that is not a translation from a neutral source. That is a translation from Khaosod which is a copy and paste from their actual news report.

So you claim it to be a 'mild' translation do you?..... by a Thaksin funded propaganda rag?????

Please tell us why ALL the red farang have to lie to form a comment?

Are you all totally incapable of debate without resorting to lies and fact twisting?

You should be banned from the forum.

Whoopers my wife translated it as well but by all means go out and get beer and food no I did not use the Khaosod translation a thai one and the word medium was interpreted as sovereign and your claim that all I do on here is lie is in fact a lie so go get your beer you are a quart or two low... you considering yourself a debater is as far fetched as as can be you are at best an apprentice bater...... catch my drift...? all you do is slam people and rant and rave whilst licking your Suthep lollipop and drinking your Jim Jones Kool Aid...for gawd sakes man go get your beer!

Funny things fall from the sky when it rains

welcome to TVF

Point out the lies Tezz... don't just follow Whoopers down a dark alley...what lies...? We respond to articles posted by the Admin on this forum...everyone is entitled to an opinion based on whatever they can bring to the table...your opinion counts no more than mine just saying someone lies doesn't make it so... but in this case more than Khaosod covered this story and in every other version...including the Bangkok Post article as well as others all had the same or nearly the same version as I referenced above.. which came from what I was told by my wife...so the inference to deception here is specious at best and probably more of a sour grapes cuz things aren't going all too well in the PDRC camp since Saturday and I understand how their supporters may get a lil bit antsy .. tell the other press outlets and media covering this that they are lying and see what comes back at ya... there is nothing I posted or quoted that is not supported by more than at least 2 other sources... and this is not a slam dunk by the PDRC in any way shape or form so we will both have to watch things unfold at the pace they will... I stopped trying to use a crystal ball with Thai Politics many many years ago...

...............................

Are we on the same planet, as we sure are not in the same posting

At no time in the above posting can I see where I said you lied

In fact I was refering to the way many posters on TVF come from La La land

I made no reference to particular person at all

Then I said welcome to TVF, come here you must expect the type of replies you get

I hope you mistook my posting and not jump to conclusions as you have a guilty concience

But then you went and destroyed your argument and said Quote

"cuz things aren't going all too well in the PDRC camp since Saturday"

The red shirts had a no event and you say the PDRC are not going to well

I rest my case before I start

You where on a winner for a while

Then it all went down hill
