The bus lies on its side after the crash at dawn.

PHUKET: A public express bus on the way from Bangkok to Phuket crashed off the road and fell onto its side at about 6am this morning.

The crash took place in Mamu District in Ranong Province, on a road known for its endless tight curves. Some 40 injured passengers were trapped inside.

Rescuers from Ranong worked frantically to extract the passengers from the wreckage. There were sent to Kraburi Hospital. No deaths have been reported.

I see too many buses crashed each time I drive up/down that road to Bangkok. Express buses drive much too fast, also tired or inexperienced drivers.

Wow , had my brother in law his wife and 2 kids arrive here this morning at 5am on a bus from bkk.

a road know for its endless tight curves...

And for being packed with visa run mini buses driven at ridiculous speeds by <removed> topped to the gills on Ya Ice and M150...

Isn't an 'endless tight curve' a circle?

Yes, but endless tight curves aren't.

Seems on Thai News there saying 7 died.

Rip to all

"Rescuers from Ranong worked frantically to extract the passengers from the wreckage."

I hope so.

Unfortunately I cannot believe that some or possibly many would have been taking photos on their phones for future laughs and merriment.
