April 14, 201411 yr I have a 3 years old son. We are going to Laos and will do Visa on Arrival. Will his visa be charged?
April 14, 201411 yr What nationality is the kid? Farang? Thai? Half & half? If Thai related, and with a Thai passport, free. If Thai going on a Thai Border Pass, cheap, forget the amount, but about baht 50. If farang on a farang passport, depends on nationality, $35 for U.S. Mac
April 16, 201411 yr on the subject but for the elderly. I read somewhere some time ago that there is no fee for the elderly - i.e. 65 and over. Can someone confirm this ?
April 16, 201411 yr As far as I know there is no visa fee exemption for children or the elderly. Trying to find any info on Lao visas online is not easy. I have used the Lao embassy in Bangkok website before but it is now not there anymore and the link goes to to non official webpage. I found this website that has info on the VOA and fees. http://www.laos-guide-999.com/visa-on-arrival.html
April 16, 201411 yr Hiro I'm over 65, and had to pay the $35 at Thannaleng Immigration last month. Mac
