Bow your head with great respect
My mom, rest her soul, was a Catholic. She had lost her first daughter at a young age. Traumatized her for life. She needed something to believe in. And she maybe wasn't intellectual enough to search for any alternatives. But even people who are intellectual and curious-minded enough to seek out alternatives to Catholicism, where does that usually lead them? To some other questionable belief system? To atheism? Belief in nothing? I didn't watch the OP. I bet he's an atheist. Atheists love to knock religions, but they got nothing better. For some people, it served a purpose and they didn't harm anyone while following this religion. I was highly critical of Catholicism growing up, but then realized that some people need it and it serves a purpose. -

Yet immigrants are integral to the U.S. care workforce, accounting for 28 percent of workers in nursing homes and 32 percent in home care, according to nonpartisan organization KFF (formerly Kaiser Family Foundation). "The crisis in the home care industry is here, whether the elected officials choose to acknowledge it or not. It's no secret that we have a shortage of workers in the care industry and that immigrants play a critical role in filling that gap," Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Secretary-Treasurer Rocío Sáenz told Newsweek. Is This Going to Happen
It is a little true & a little misguided that Thailand does not realize who & what their main long term customers/expats are. In reality most are those seeking a better life than what their incomes provide back in their 1st world countries. Truthfully if an expat has decent money even if he wants to live in Thailand why would he stay for the 3-4 smoky cancerous hellish hot months?...Same for the 3 or so monsoon months? Why? when so many better options exist? These types that could easily afford 2 million for a one year financial guarantee would be the least likely to actually stay 12 months So much easier to keep it under 6 months a year with a multi entry tourist visa...no tax hassles...no Immigration hassles...TM30's, 90 day checks... etc etc & most of all get out of hell during the hellish months. Cherry pick it 😉
