Quite town south of Chaing Mai with nature/swimming

Featured Replies

Hi looking for a town or city south of Chaing Mai that has lots of nature and hopefully natural clean swimming: river, waterfalls , etc

My friends family lives in Lampang and son lives in Chaing Mai, so somewhere inbetween or close to Lampang would be :)

We were thinking Lamphun but have no idea if has clean water to swim

Thank you in advance :)

There's a big lake at Sariam near the 108 but I don't know if you can swim in it.

Look for something in the vicinity of Op Khan national park.

Op Khan has a nice place to swim BUT all depends on the time of year.

Last time crystal clear water flowing through the Gorge and very refreshing but went another time and the water was murky and not that nice at all.
