PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, April 25 -- Prachuap Khiri Khan governor Veera Sriwattanatrakul today inspected preparations and the area where His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej will grant a special audience on Coronation Day, May 5, at Klai Kangwon Palace in Hua Hin.

The audience to the royal family and civil servants is set for 10am at Rajpracha Samakhom Pavilion inside the Klai Kangwon Palace grounds.

Hua Hin municipality and the province are preparing for the event as they expect the people to gather to witness the audience. the flags, lights and images of His Majesty the King were being put in place along Phetkasem Road in Hua Hin district.

His Majesty the King's motorcade will leave Piemsuk Palace for the pavilion inside the palace via Phetkasem Road to give all Thais a chance to greet His Majesty

It will be the same route that was used for the audience on His Majesty the King's birthday on December 5 last year, said the governor.

The event will be broadcast live on national television.

Twelve large LED screens will be installed on Phetkasem Road near the palace for well-wishers to watch the audience live. (MCOT online news)

HUA HIN: -- Preparations are underway for the special audience His Majesty will grant to members of the Royal Family and civil servants at Klai Kangwon Palace on May 5,

Prachuap Khiri Khan Governor Veera Sriwattanatrakul said yesterday.

The special audience, held to mark Coronation Day, will start from 10am at Rajpracha Samakhom Pavilion inside the palace grounds.

Flags, lights and images of the beloved King are being put up along Phetkasem Road in Hua Hin, as officials make way for the huge numbers of people they expect will gather to witness the event.

His Majesty's motorcade will leave Piemsuk Palace for the pavilion via Phetkasem Road.

This is same route that was used for the audience on His Majesty's birthday last year, the governor said, adding that the event would be broadcast live on television.

Twelve large LED screens will be installed on Phetkasem Road so well-wishers can watch the audience.
