Prachuap Khiri Khan, 26 April 2014 (NNT) —Members of the public continue to gather at Rajapracha Samakhom Pavilion to bless His Majesty King Bhumibol and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on the auspicious occasion of their 64th wedding anniversary.

His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Mom Rajawongse Sirikit Kitayakara were married by Her Majesty Queen Sawang Vadhana, the paternal grandmother of His Majesty, at the Sra Pathum Palace in Bangkok on April 28, 1950.

The blessing is being held between April 25th and 29th from 08.30 a.m. to 04.30 p.m., according to the Bureau of the Royal Household.

In addition, Prachuab Khiri Khan Province, Hua Hin Municipality, together with Hua Hin and Cha-Am tourism entrepreneurs, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and other private contributors, are jointly holding the fifth “Hua Hin Remembers” event at Queen Sirikit Memorial Park, Hua Hin.

The event is taking place from April 26 to May 3 to pay tribute to the King and the Queen.
