BANGKOK: -- Nuttawut Saikuar, the secretary general of the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship, Friday challenged Suthep Thaugsuban, the secretary general of the People's Democratic Reform Committee, to compare the number of demonstrators of their May 14 mass rallies.

Both the UDD and PDRC planned to hold their "final" mass rallies on May 14.

Earlier both sides challenged each other to compare the number of their demonstrators and asked the side with fewer demonstrators to disperse and halt their campaigns.

He can't embarrass himself. One of the requirements to be a Thaksin lackey is to have a complete lack of shame or embarrassment. Also, he is like a lawyer in that he will say anything legal that his client wants him and, being an executive of Thaksin's 'UDD', he is on Dr. Thaksin's payroll and will say whatever the boss wants him to say. Nattawut is not the problem; he is a symptom. The real problem is Thaksin who is still butt-hurt over the military deposing him in 2006 and he will get his revenge no matter how long it takes or what it costs in money and lives destroyed. Take Thaksin out of the the equation and Thailand's problems are rather small.
