buying birth control pills

I know this forum is mostly male dominated but perhaps you might know the answer through your wives.

My wife needs to start using the pill. I dropped by one of the local pharmacies and they had them in 1 month supply only.I would prefer getting them in 3 months quantity as I am assuming they would be much cheaper. Of course in Thailand, that logic may not apply.

My wife buys hers at Makro, Diane-35 brand, a bayer product. She says you can buy them in a package for 6 months. When she buys individual packs they are about 140 baht for the month.

Just go with an injection like you do with dogs. Cheaper, and easier, just once every three months. If you plan it right you can use the same reminder for your 90-Day notification.

Do the injections cause more of the weight gain side effect vs the pills or is it an individual thing. My exWife ballooned up on the stuff ( brand name Deproprovera).
