Jose Mourinho: Chelsea summer spending complete, says manager

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28381655

What we don't know is what is going to happen with Lukaku and Torres.

My guess is Lukaku might be sold to Everton ? and Torres stays.

Cos at the moment the only striker we've got is Costa and Patrick Bamford from the youth set up.

Schurrle can add strike force, and maybe Drogba will come on a free. Player/coach/supersub. And general bldy fear factor. smile.png

Reckon Torres is probably staying.

Looks like Lukaku to Everton, permanent.

Remy to Liverpool.

Spurs and Arsenal missing out...again.

Remy and Khedira no joy for Wenger because of.....yep, wages.

Tight ship.

That would leave a vacancy at Chelsea then. I can't see us just having Starbucks and the Spanish donkey.

I know exactly what you mean.

Costa

Torres

Bamford

(Drogba)

?

Might work. Goals coming from Hazard, Schurrle, Oscar and Fabregas too.

Don't know. Mourinho doesn't seem to be a big fan of 2 strikers.

City and Liverpool seem to do it differently?

Liverpool agree £8.5 million fee with QPR for striker Loic Remy

Liverpool have beaten a number of other clubs to QPR striker Loic Remy after agreeing a fee of £8.5 million for the French star.

Arsenal had shown an interest in the player but have lost out with Remy, 27, opting for a move to Anfield.

According to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio the Frenchman will sign a five year deal after lowering his wage demands in order to get his move.

Seems like Liverpool are spending lots of money on attacking players, but very little on the er....stopping goals going in your net thingy.

Have I missed something?

Not quite sure where to put this, might need a new thread...but I fancy Barcelona for La Liga and the CL.

Messi, Neymar and Suarez will be absolutely unstoppable.

Never mind what's behind them.

Jose Mourinho has taunted Arsenal by claiming he needed just 20 minutes to persuade Cesc Fabregas to join Chelsea because the former Gunners midfielder didn't want to return to his old club.

What a douche. Didn't he know that Arsenal had already turned Fabregas down. Obviously with his little dig at Wilshere he's trying his (tiny little) mind games again.

in prem terms money relatively well spent imo.

look like Spurs have won the Ben Davies race though.

Moreno is still the target. Not even sure Davies was 2nd choice...just the Swansea connection getting the tabloids interestcoffee1.gif

yeah maybe bob , not sure on the argument of there's 'to much competition',. would sort of expect a bit of a swagger and arrogance and f' u' i'm the top dog, especially when ure lobbing out the best part of ten mil on defender!!!!, but still, he looked decent for Swansea so we'll have 2 see.

Is it still on the table the Moreno deal, reading it was alive, dead, alive and then dead again, has it resurrected?

Seems funny, a lot o youz out there having a liccle dig at LvG for not having done more, yet there's plenty here now defending their team saying "there's still a month left".....

Eeeeee, we are a fickle bunch, aren't we..... ;)
