Near Gate 5, officials found 6 bundles of firecrackers and shrapnel bound together by tape. At the gate near Witthayu Rd., tear gas canisters and 5 ping-pong bombs were found.Police have determined that the PDRC guard whose ID card was found along with the explosives discovered on Tuesday is wanted by Nakhon Si Thammarat police for a murder case perpetrated in 2013.-- NNT 2014-05-15

Either that, or this is the type of tricks Chalerm/CAPO are trying to pull to make PDRC look bad. Using a suspected murderer's name is convenient. If that person is still alive he will not report to the police. And it is unlikely that he would advertise his name on his backpack. It seems PDRC left behind a whole arsenal of explosives when they moved camp. Could there really be so many people equalling Chalerm's intelligence? If so, poor poor Thailand. 7
Popular Post Robby nz Posted May 14, 2014 Popular Post Posted May 14, 2014 So they have had time to plant some more "evidence" But no that cant be right, the honest, impartial and upright Thai police force would never do anything like that. 9
Popular Post wprime Posted May 14, 2014 Popular Post Posted May 14, 2014 Is this a joke? The police expect people to believe that the guy left bombs and his ID card waiting to be discovered? I mean, c'mon, the bombs alone some people might have believed, but he left his ID card??? They took it too far, one would need to be an absolute retard to believe this isn't a set up. 10
Popular Post Tatsujin Posted May 14, 2014 Popular Post Posted May 14, 2014 It's quite amazing how well the Police plant find evidence AGAINST the PDRC yet seem totally incapable of finding any evidence in any other criminal case against the (caretaker) Govt/ PT/UDD. Amazing Thailand. 13
somchaismith Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 How convenient. What's the bet that the PDRC deny any knowledge.
Arjay Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Question to ask is "who would leave their ID card linking them to criminal evidence"? Obviously not a mental giant or maybe a setup with a planted or stolen ID card. Just too easy to believe.

Dude!! Wake up!! You don't smell something fishy when the Chalerm police force always finds ID's? They are clearly planted there. IDs are used from guys that where caught by the police for other crimes a few years back. This trick is even used in cheap Hollywood movies. Are you that blind? Edited May 15, 2014 by Nickymaster 3
JSPS Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Say what you like about the demonstrators. But I doubt they are dumb enough to construct explosive devices in their camp and then leave them there for others to find when they leave. That doesn't make sense even with Thai thinking. 1
The stuttering parrot Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I wonder how this thread would go if it was the reds leaving lumpini? The yellows are never guilty of anything . I do believe some crims aren't the sharpest tools in the shed also if there was a little whiskey drank the night before it might have caused a little misjudgment of getting rid of the evidence!
rickirs Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 It must be very embarrassing (snicker) to the PDRC for all its security measures that the red shirts had set up a bomb-making facility in the middle of the PDRC Lumpini Park camp. Next you'll hear about red shirt bombs manufactured and stored in the army bunkers near all the PDRC protest sites. Who'd thought the red shirts were so devious?

Maybe they forgot them after the Final rally # 24.....
TPI Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 If this guard "left his ID card" with the "explosives" then wouldn't it look a little suss? Now think carefully......who might gain advantage from such a find????
The Deerhunter Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 It's just gotta be all or mostly planted later by people trying to discredit the anti govt protestors. Nobody "forgets" that much explosive. Now, who has access to explosives & wants to discredit the PDRC?? Oh yes! Q.E.D. Even CAPO could work that out, if they cared.
Morch Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 I wonder how this thread would go if it was the reds leaving lumpini? The yellows are never guilty of anything . I do believe some crims aren't the sharpest tools in the shed also if there was a little whiskey drank the night before it might have caused a little misjudgment of getting rid of the evidence! There wouldn't be any thread as the police would not have found anything. Probably. It's common knowledge that yellow colored evidence is much easier to detect. Now, as said on a similar topic yesterday - could very well be true evidence. However, given the police track record of having trouble finding red colored evidence, or making any progress even when they do - some would be somewhat cautious jumping to conclusions about their credibility.
Mango Bob Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Lots of excuses coming from the anti government supporters here. Why not admit your guards are not very smart or maybe they have Alzheimer's.
kimamey Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) If these explosives were left there by some of the PDRC protesters then I don't see anyway you can excuse that. What I don't understand is why they would leave it behind with ID as well. It doesn't seem to make sense. Edited May 15, 2014 by kimamey

THe interesting part is that - PDRC cleans up before leaving - BMA takes two days to do more cleanup - next police finds bag with bombs and ID - next day even more bombs Puzzling really 1
tezzainoz Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 (edited) It seems 95% of all comments ask, why would you leave behind bombs to prove you are guilty of violence If they made the bombs they still need them so why leave the behind and to leave an ID behind, this guy is so dumb if real but no one mentioned The Thai wife remembers that the PRDC protectors go over the area with a fine tooth come when they leave an area are they all also blind and suddenly in come the police, who seem to never find any think unless attach to 100 baht note and find pipe bombs that is because a pipe bomb would stand out on the plain ground un covered The number of RED Bloggers here who believe this is possible as I have said many times FREE SPEECH IS GREAT You not have to prove your a fool just open your mouth and prove it Edited May 15, 2014 by tezzainoz

See the bears Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 A smoking gun is not good enough for the blinded
Stradavarius37 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 All of you TV farang who identify yourselves as red or yellow are idiots. Both sides are corrupt, both sides are violent, and that fact that you pick one or the other, and refuse to see the actions from both sides, is laughable. 1

tezzainoz Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 A smoking gun is not good enough for the blinded Well it is a bit unusual that someone clean"s up picks up all the rubbish empties the bins and then leaves a smoking gun behind Only in the heads of the Keystone Cops ( part of the Thailand police trainning coarse)

You're probably right. But the guards?........................they're an altogether different kind of stupid. Mind you some of the supporters aren't that bright either Man caught with weapons at protest site later revealed as PDRC supporter Guards of the anti-government People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) on Friday arrested a man with rifles and bullets, fake car plates and a red shirt ID card at a protest site. It was later found that he was a high-ranking executive at Nok Air, a civil society leader of a patients’ rights network and a PDRC supporter. They found the suspect in a pick-up truck, with a home-made bomb, knives, live bullets and rifles. The man, whose name was later revealed as Sampart Kulsriroj, told reporters that he likes to collect knives for self-protection and the bullets were legal and belonged to his father. http://www.prachatai.com/english/node/3855
outsider Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Just wondering how long it will take before 'the authorities' discover a live nuclear missile, complete with firing computer and solution, at the bottom of the lake. With Suthep's ID stuck to the booster rocket, no less
