1 dead, 1 injured in Highway 7 crash close to Pattaya

PATTAYA:--On Saturday Night a truck carrying paint hit a street pylon in a ditch close to the Banglamung/Rayong turn-off on Highway 7, resulting in the destruction of the truck and death of its passenger.

Highway Police and rescue services made their way to the scene and saw the truck, which was transporting paint to Pattaya. The driver of the truck, Khun Panom aged 40, was seriously injured and rushed to Hospital while the passenger, Khun Rukchart aged 57, was declared dead-at-the-scene.

The entire crash scene was covered in paint which made it difficult for rescue workers who eventually removed the dead passenger from the truck using the “Jaws of Life”.

Yet another example of someone driving to fast.

The poor passenger was dead, but had a lovely finish. RIP

I tried not to laugh at your comment but could not help myself being an ex paintergiggle.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

There is reporting repetitive stories like this irresponsibly, and then there is reporting repetitive stories like this with the intent to push a message of safety awareness. How about pushing a message and changing the headline to, "Thailand's Poor Road Conditions Claim yet Another Life", or something like, "Irresponsible Driving Habits Claim yet Another Life"?

But there I go again... TIT.
