RKK is behind the recent Pattani bombing incident

PATTANI, 28 May 2014 (NNT) - Pattani police believed RKK separatists were behind the recent attack in the province as they wanted to stir chaos in the area to sabotage the local economy and to terrorize the residents.

The officials said they had examined CCTV cameras at a gas station located near the bombing site which took place on May 24th. From the footage, they discovered a man took his motorcycle to the station, seemingly for a gas refill. But soon after he parked the vehicle, the suspect fled the scene on another motorcycle, which was followed by an explosion.

Pattani Police Commander, Pol. Maj-Gen. Phothi Suaysuwan, said the attack was well planned. He also identified the man in the footage as an RKK separatist group member. The commander also claimed that the separatist group was using a strategy to create fear among local people in hope to ruin the area’s economy.

Meanwhile, a soldier was wounded in a bombing incident on Phetchakasem Road linking Pattani and Narathiwat in the area of Bajo District.

when the general has to deal with the ptp/red terrorists in the rest of Thailand is it really any wonder, maybe if the ptp has actually done their job it would be as bad as it is.
