If you're only here short term, just buy a cheapo CRT style TV for a couple of thousand baht. I don't think you'll have much luck trying to rent one.

Ain't much good without a "cable" subscription including the dish and the receiver box.

If anyone is still expending energy (which I doubt) trying to locate a TV rental they can stop; I found one.

advice....... go to small tv selling shop. Agree to buy tv on time payments. Pay time payments like rent.

When done with tv, return it to shop and consider money spent up to that day as rent.

Easy.
