I'm going to Pattaya shortly for a couple of weeks, to stay with a friend and he wants to get a couple of games of golf in. I can't be bothered to take my own plus I'm flying EVA Air with a 20Kg baggage limit. How much is it to hire a set (well a half set would be fine to be honest - I'm not a great golfer).

Also what's the dress code for Pattaya golf courses? i.e. I assume long trousers and a shirt with a collar (polo shirt), will they let me play in trainers or do I have to take proper golf shoes with me?

About 600 baht for club rental. Dress is trousers or shorts with polo shirt. Golf shoes would be advisable but most courses would probably let you on in trainers.
