Need an English speaking smartphone guru to teach me a few tricks

I have a Samsung smartphone, but not the same model that you have, and I have found that pressing and holding the button at the bottom, that displays the menu, will give you a list of all the apps that you have open. So, after you copy something, press and hold the button, then touch the app you want to paste into.

Like you, I'm not getting any younger, and I took the plunge, moving from a very basic mobile to a smartphone earlier this year. It was very daunting at first, but a couple of hours spent reading the manual and trying things on the phone at the same time, worked wonders.
