Emirates Business Lounge

Featured Replies

Last time I was in BKK I struggled to find the business lounge despite asking several people. I then discovered the signs were wrong and not me and that it was closed for refurb and people were told to use the Qantas one for first class and some other general lounge for business class.

Does anyone know the latest on this and when the emirates lounge will re-open?

Thanks

They told me in May that the refurbished lounger would open in June, but I've not been back since so cannot confirm. The Qantas lounge is easy to find, concourse G, level 3.

....oh, and the Qantas lounge was for Business (and also nowhere near as good as the old EK lounge).

Precisely.............I'm hoping it will be open for August. Thanks for the reply

It was still closed on the evening of 3rd July and signs redirecting people to the Qantas lounge.

I was only walking past as I was going to the China Airlines lounge so no idea as to when it will be open again.

I was in the QANTAS loung last Monday and I thought the Emirates lounge was open ( it's virtually next door) but I might be mistaken. Keep in mind that the QF lounge closes at 2130, so if your Emirates flight is later than that ( assuming it hasn't reopened), it won't be an option.

The renovated EK lounge is now open and has been for several weeks. Very nice remodelling job. And for those of us who fly EK rather than QF, we are very grateful that we no longer have to endure the mediocre lounge and food at QF.
