Skytrain services rescheduled during rush hours to better serve passengers

BANGKOK: -- Bangkok Mass Transit System Co. (BTS), the operator of Bangkok's skytrain system, announced on Thursday that it would reschedule its services during the rush hours of working days to better serve passengers.

During the rush hours, from 07:00 a.m.-09:00 a.m. and 04:00-07:00 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays, the skytrain will be released to serve the passengers more frequently, around 2.33-3.21 minutes each, according to advisor to the BTS board Dr. Anat Arbhabhirama.

Passengers are welcome to call the BTS hotline, 02-6176000, for detailed schedules of each route, he said.

The skytrain's rescheduled services, aimed to also meet increasing demand of the capital's commuters, will begin on July 3.
