I have had RLS for quite a few years and this causes me to have extremely poor sleep patterns. I was prescribed Sifrol in combination with Alepam to control it a few years ago. I still take the Sifrol but no longer take Alepam as it's hard to get in Thailand.

My question is to ask any TV persons if they take any alternate medication to treat RLS, as I believe Sifrol has caused me to gain weight and also develop severe numbness/ constant pins and needles in my hands plus intermittent numbness radiating down my arms. These symptoms first surfaced about 12 to 18 months ago.

In regards to the weight gain I go to the gym daily and average abt 1500 calories burnt on the treadmill a day to try and maintain weight. In addition I cut alcohol down to 2 times a week and I eat very moderately. Before Sifrol I had no need for the above and the above regime ( 3 months now) has not led to any weight loss what so ever.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks
