If any of you are waiting for friends/guests flying in this afternnon apparently flights have been diverted to Suratthani.

 

I am waiting for guests on the TG pm flight and a couple of PG flights.

 

No sign of them yet. I do not know if they will have to ferry it to Samui or if the flights will try again.

 

If anyone out there knows something about this, please let me know.

I am sure your post makes sense to you. but i have no idea where you are.

Anyway - I can hear reverse thrust at Samui Airport so I guess that I just have to wait for the wayward flights to arrive.

You DID post in the Samui forum. I've gotten into the habit of scrolling to the top of the page to see where the poster is coming from. If you don't know then some posts are not understandable.

You don't want to land on Samui with this weather, that's for sure. Zero visibility. Sometimes the planes make a go around after attempting to land, but yesterday no way. I was diverted once to Surat, about 3 years ago, and then flown on same plane to Samui 45 minutes later. Better be safe......

yes the topic was about finding out information about why or any news about the flight divert information in case anyone was in the same boat. what difference does it make if one knows him or not.

 

No body knows anyone on here. seems a but trollish comment but subtle. i like it.  

 

So let me get this straight. you don't want to help him out because you don't know who he is?

 

Maybe should send and application form before asking a question as to whats happening at the airport.

Sorry I did edit my post after a reread. I looked for any info on flight delays but could not find any. Good luck with the bad weather down there. Just some light showers here in Hua Hin
