KUALA LUMPUR: -- Three police officers would be based in the Netherlands and Ukraine to follow up with the investigation and meetings pertaining to the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17 crash, according to New Straits Times.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said an officer based in London has been sent to Kiev to be on standby and to attend meetings.

He said: “The officer has been sent there and he will be attending meetings that will provide regular updates on the situation whilst we will be sending another two officers to be placed in Eindhoven and Amsterdam.”

Khalid had just returned from leading the 68-man team that left to Ukraine to carry out investigations at the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) MH17 ‎crash site.

Flight MH17 was downed in eastern Ukraine on July 17, and on board were 298 passengers including crew members. It was en route to Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam when the plane was believed to have been shot down by a missile.

Khalid said the team that returned to Malaysia today was the last batch and if need be, they would be dispatched to Ukraine again.

Is it just me? There was such a hue and cry after MH370 disappeared; but no-one much seems interested in MH17. I wonder why?

Maybe then is just me but MH370 disappeared, plane is where ? passengers/crew are where ?

MH17 was shot down and all passengers/crew are dead

I have the opposite perception.

MH370 was full of Asians (mainly Chinese & Malaysians), and only 21 "Westerners" (including 6 Australians, 4 French, 3 Americans).  After the initial fruitless searches, this story is pretty dead, which upsets the Chinese no end.

MH17 was full of Westerners (mostly Dutch, but also 27 Aussies, 10 Brits, 4 Germans), so got a lot of focus from Western media.

Even Australia is shifting its attention from the wild goose chase of MH370 (6 Aussies) to the more tangible MH17 (27 bodies).

In fact, even for the Malaysia, there were more Malaysians on MH17 (44) than on MH370 (38).

It appears that the Malaysian Press have already come to the conclusion that Russia is not responsible for MH17 shoot down...

And why was Malaysian air targeted for these #2 incidents?

Thanks for the links, Loptr.

More than just an eye opener.

Interesting, specially when Putin said the following:

--------

Putin told me who shot down MH17... It was aliens. - ancient alien guy

Many are saying that this was a cover up that the plane shot down today was not what we are being told. Many are saying that this was in fact the plane taken over four months ago being returned. So why would the Russians shoot it down and why? It is no secret that the worlds super powers have been seeking and researching alien technology for decades. Everyone knows about the alien space craft that crashed in Roswell NM in 1947 and was collected and researched by the U.S. Government.

In fact, Russia has launched a sort of Alien Archaeology program over the last few years. Among the most impressive finds of the program have been Alien sourced alloys that date to 2,000 years old, tungsten alloys that are 250 million years old, and a chunk of UFO in a piece of 300 million year old lump of coal.

So why did the Russians shoot down the returned airplane? Sources say that the plane was in reality flying west through Ukraine to Europe, not from Europe to Malaysia as most news sources are reporting.

So the plane was flying to Europe, away from Russia. Obviously  whatever or who ever was on that plane, the Russians did not want returning to the west. So they shot it down.

It has been reported that Russia has an Alien Defense System (ADS). Most thought that it was defensive but today we are learning that it can be used offensively.

Total BS. The Australian govenment has just awarded a 60 million dollar one year contract to Fugro to perform a large seabed search to locate MH370. What else do you expect them to do.
