Cerified copies in Chiang Mai.

Featured Replies

For what purpose? For immigration use you just sign copies to make them certified. If you are talking about registration for legal usage of Thai documents outside of Thailand or of foreign documents (such as foreign marriage) to be recorded at District Office that is done by Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Chiang Watanna road after you make translation into your language and most translations services can take care of that at additional fee.

For what you require, any lawyer will certify, Khun Sumalee at 29 Tanin will charge you 500 baht per copy - ground floor of the Punna building on Haew Keow Road.

I need a certified copy of my passport for my will. Is simply signing a copy sufficient?

Thanks.

I have to certify a copy of my passport twice a week when I withdraw at the bank.

They photocopy it, I have to sign again against my passport signature.

I would imagine there are a very few scenarios whereby a legal team need to get involved

Check with the organisation that needs the certification of your passport as to whom they accept.
