What's the best serviced apartment in Bangkok for 10/20K baht per month?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

i will be spending 2 months in Bangkok and i'm looking for a comfortable serviced apartment. The monthly rent rate should not exceed 20,000 baht per month.

I have only three requirements: 1/ reliable and fast internet speed.

2/ swimming pool.

3/ fitness gym.

I don't really care about location as long as it is not further than 1 km from a bts/mrt station.

Does anybody know a nice serviced apartment meeting my demands?

Better off getting a hotel if its only a 2 month stay, you'll struggle to find many apartments with less than 6/12 months contract and to be honest some of the hotels are really cheap and clean. Id stay at a few different ones in the first week until you find one you like then try to strike a deal with the manager for a monthly fee.

Cheers

Checkout iPremium or Varin Place. I'm guessing their rental prices are within the range you're looking for.

Recommend the hotel route for short stay.

If you are new to Bangkok try the Nana Hotel. Great free buffet, nice pool and lots of action across the street. No gym, but they are close. Gyms in Asoke one BTS stop away where the Soy Cowboy dancers work out. Sign up for short time at the gym as they do go out of business. Make a reservation early, no credit card required and no cancellation penalty. Safe baggage storage. My friends leave bags in there for up to a year, for years no problem.

Take a trip to Pattaya and stay at the Sandy Springs Hotel a block from the beach. Buy a discount card. Nice pool and a English pub is next door. Great buffet down the street at the Leke Hotel. A few minutes walk to the tahitian queen bar with fabulous dancers and a good happy hour. Walk the beach and head over to the Hilton for coffee on the floor where the pool is to see incredible views day or night.

Remember most everything here is negotiable. Learn some Thai language and the discount might increase.

Have fun!
