Can't Change My HomePage

Featured Replies

Hi,

I let my AVG free antivirus install updates and now AVG Search is my homepage on my

Firefox.

I can't remember what version of FireFox I have but I remember changing the version and having to add Classic Theme Restorer add-on to be able to remove the navigation bar..

Whatever I did I can't change the homepage like I used to.I have the navigation bar removed and I can't restore it to change the homepage.

I would be very grateful if somebody knows what I'm talking about and could help me get out of this jam.

I did it by google....Want google home page..... Gives you an icon to drag........thumbsup.gif

If not internet settings. delete in the page and type www.google.com..

You can right-click anywhere unused above the tabs, or just outside the tabs themselves and you'll be presented with a menu, work from there ;)

Got it.........Nice one............Thank you

Right clik where the menu bar is supposed to be and click on the option "menu". When using Firefox, also use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free on internet. Firefox is now subject of so much attacks.

Not sure about that, I always use firefox, I have Malwarebytes Professional which stops an attack before it can infiltrate mt PC. If something shows up a balloon comes up stating what was stopped. Only thing that shows up and gets stopped on my PC is something to do with Skype....whistling.gif

Same with me, Skype often comes up in malware but i do not know why.

I thought Skype *is* malware ! whistling.gif
