British man dies from fall.

Featured Replies

I have never lived in a Country before with so so many Deaths like this,,, ??

R.I.P.

I heard from a friend that this was a long-time resident and someone well known in the expat community. I'd like more information. Is there a link to a news story?

Another one "fell"? Right....

heybruce, google "British man dies from fall Bangkok Post" - take you right to it.

This happened last Sunday in the Nimmanhaemin Road area of Chiang Mai.

Falling from a balcony is becoming so common, it barely makes the news anymore.

RIP fella, 43 is way too young. sad.png

Hmm. Just how old is 'old enough' to die?

Neither of the local rags have mentioned this. Normal for CNX journalism

Don't know about the reporting but balcony plunges do seem frequent enough in LOS to warrant their own category.

Relatives remodeling the ancestral home in Southern California tell me the minimum railing height there is now 42".

Thanks, I found it. It confirmed what my friend told me. I knew the man, though not well. He was a nice guy and died much to early.

About twice the age of the young man who died in this incident. I'll let you do the maths....
