Be careful when you turn a barrel into a BBQ. You need to make sure you know what was in it before. Yes many people say you can burn out whatever was in it but if you do a quick search on the Internet about this you will find that is not always the case and when you are cooking your food you may be putting stuff you don't want into your food and then into your body. If you can find it find something that had food grade oil in it or honey, something of that nature.
