hair transplant - where in Thailand or near Asian country

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have a friend (no not me:) that wants to have a hair transplant here in Thailand or other near Asian country. Has anyone any experience or knowledge of any surgeon that they could recommend.

any info much appreciated

From what I have seen of the results of these hair transplants they may work at first but they don't last forever. Then you have to decide to either live with the monkeys bum or shave the lot off. There are many around who have decided they will shave the lot and from the front they look good. But from the back they have an horrendous scar where the hair was harvested.

One thing to keep in mind.

Hi,

I had one done in Chiang Mai. I think the email is [email protected]

The Dr. is fantastic, hair by hair no plugs. No one I've pointed it out to would believe

its a transplant. 7 years later it's still the best looking hair on my head. (I just filled in a receding hairline

above the temples) nothing to be ashamed of, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

They do an HIV test first, if you pass and can pay it's a go.

Google is your (friend's) friend:

No recommendations, but perhaps check out the latest techniques that do not involve cutting strips from one place and inserting them in another. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) uses a new technique where individual follicles are harvested using a kind of drill, and then the harvested follicles are reinserted in the target area. Apparently leaves very little scaring, and allows for follicles to be harvested from more areas (so if you do have a hairy, white @ss, you may be in luck) !

Astonishingly, I have growing non stop in my ears and nostrils and the "down there" area enough

to cover a bald monkey, but nothing is growing on the cure-all I call my head......

I would consider Bumrungrad on this, or ask there where to go, they are the best hospital i have ever used!

There is one in pattaya that I know at the top of my soi, if you travel east along pattaya klang and turn first left past big c extra into soi yumi, this place is on the corner of the first soi on the left.

Bangmod hosp has a very experienced hair transplant team and reportedly a price advantage. this was the case a few years ago.

reason being that i have actually already had 3 transplant proceedures done in the UK - more than 10 years ago. But i do not know of any recommended surgeons in Thailand. I couldnt give a monkeys as to what anyone thinks. i am enquiring for a friend who is not net savy.

so there you go oh wise one - i have actually had 3 seperate transplant ops done myself. i dont seek to hide that fact. why would i. who on TV would i be hiding it from. try thinking before you talk . works wonders!

for the idiots (well troll sociopaths actually) that think it is some joke to have a hair transplant. well, i agree in part. if you are ugly and stupid then a transplant would not hide that fact. also if you have rotten and dirty teeth then what would be the point. some peope are quite happy to have rotten and dirty teeth. where as other people would seek crowns or veneers or even implants. but hey - oh natrual is much better as the women just love fat bald geezers with dirty or missing teeth. better to make the least of oneself - eh!

Off topic, insulting, rude posts & quotes removed.

Moved to health.

i have worked with guys where it didnt work and they have punch holes on their head in the form of scars and looks bad . a rug may be better or a complete scalp bought from a thai guy and implanted in its entirety. elton johns looks ok for some reason

Highly recommended

I had one done 10 years ago in Mauritius. French run clinic devoted to hair transplants (google it). I flew down from Dubai using up airmiles on the way back from London.

I was very happy with the results then and still very happy with my hair now. No sign of the transplanted hairs 'dying off'

Highly recommended.

Hair transplant turkey is the no1 at the moment ! Service is great u can get package deal can Google it and see!

Amazing to see the extravagant amount of cash some are ready to part with, to look as if they were not eating meat.

Meat eaters civilizations are balding, if you don't want the look don't do it.

Your information is bullshit, my transplant was done 11 years ago and looks as good today as the fully healed result that came at year 1 .

I wouldn't trust this procedure to be done then anywhere then the U.S.
