5 Star Hotel Theft from British Guest by Pattaya Bar Girl



PATTAYA: -- Over the weekend, the Pattaya Police Chief, announced the arrest of a 40 year old Pattaya Bar Worker, who is alleged to have stolen money from the room safe of a 56 year old British Tourist.

The incident occurred at the Dusit Thani Resort in North Pattaya, inside a room occupied by Mr. John Sargant from Redhill in Surrey. Earlier he had invited Khun Tirapon to his room and after 3 days of being together, she suddenly left but decided to reportedly steal 2,900 Pounds Sterling from his room safe.

During Questioning the suspect claimed that she watched Mr. Sargant use the room safe and was able to remember the security code. After she left, the money was exchanged for Thai Baht and allegedly handed to Khun Tikamporn aged 56 who the suspect claims is a close friend.

Police were able to locate the two women at the Oh La La Beer Bar situated close to the Dolphin Roundabout and only meters away from the Hotel. A total of 100,600 Baht was recovered and a small amount of pounds sterling. Khun Tirapon claimed she was angry that Mr. Sargant did not provide her with any financial compensation in exchange for her providing companionship, which led her to steal the money from the safe.

I think both of them are lying about their ages.

Must have had a hard paper round, looks much older than 56. Where are the fashion Police these days, those shorts.

Typos on the ages I think. I believe the woman is 56 and the man is 140.

She should pay him compensation with a face like that.

I love it when they point the finger, its him, her and the cop standing behind but they still have to point or else the averidge Thai will have no idea whats going on. They even make her point to the money.

i bet if he knew that his reporting of such an incident would result in (potentially) world wide media coverage, including the infamous finger-pointing-photo show . . . he would've kept his wrinkly old gob shut and taken the £2.9k hit just to save face among his family & friends back in the UK.

He's obviously distraught, plans of true love, marriage, 4x4, home in the country all flown out the window

after 3days of being together he invited her to his room,as his eye sight is not that clever he invited her to open the safe for him being the upstanding bar girl she is,she oblidged.and helped herself to the contents.

bussiness must be quiet in patts.when a 5* hotel lets in . you couldnt make it up.

this will go down well with the victims family back home.must have been his first trip to patts.

The Dusit should lose one star for letting him stay. One star for allowing her in. And one star for having the standards of a typical Pattaya flea pit hotel. Congratulations.

If that is how a 5 star hotel guest looks in Pattaya, then I wonder how the lower grade hotel guest dresses.....

You really do not know the truth but we all know the guy could be a real creep and he deserves it. We don't know. What if the guy promised $$$ then just laughted at her when she wanted paid. Then he passes out on the bed. What can she do? Take 2500 bahts per day. Yes. But she can also teach the possible creep a big lesson - take it all. Obviously, she did not think she was too much in the wrong. She went back to work and was easily caught. I know of very simular stories where the guy gets what he wants then says - get out, i will pay nothing. It happens in BKK. She has no recourse but to leave. I am not saying he is guilty but put the facts together - the big fact is she goes back to work at the same place.

What 5 star hotel allows guests to dress like this guy ? Surely a typo there ?
