Hi peeps,

I'm in the UK at the moment and I want to buy a Honda Wave, either new or second hand, to ship upto the village in Chaiya Phuum. The father in-law can ride it when he wants (as his is now totally knackered) and i've got something to ride when i go up there.

I bought a brand new Nouvo in January, for when i am in Jomtien and that cost 58K baht, all in, tax, insurance etc. But i don't need one as good as that for the village.

Can anyone tell me how much a new Honda Wave is and also, about how much a second hand one is?

Bought a Wave R 125 with 20k km. for 22k with a 1yr (FWIW) labor (not parts) warranty from Niyom Paniche in CM. Runs great no problems, 6 mo. now. I think Hondas take a pretty good beating. A new R 125 without/electric start (why bother?) is 36k or so in CM. I'm sure there's a dealer in Chaiyaphum to buy new and used from, MAYBE better for service in the long run.
