Anyone getting True monthly magazine?channel guide ?

Featured Replies

I haven't received the magazine/guide in the mail for many months. When contacted the company has no real answer. Just sorry, sorry, sorry.

Is any forum member in Chiang Mai getting it ?

I'm guessing (only because we haven't received one for well over a year) that True quit sending them out. There is a guide on the cable in any event (I don't use it given I've only somewhat mastered the ability to turn the tv on and off), I never used the printed guide anyway, and I save myself the effort of tossing it out once a month.

We get one very irregularly. I only wish we could see a list of programs available on our TV set.

Rarely. Lucky the costs ain't high or i'd be really pist off

There is definitely a program guide as a menu item. Also this web site:-

My magazine (for what it's worth) is sent to my PO Box and I rarely miss out..

I have never been sent one. Did not know it existed.

I get three copies of both their magazines every month, A full menu one and a shortened menu one.

This is because I wrote strong protest to [email protected] everytime it did not arrive on time. For a few weeks it came registered !!!

Haven't seen a guide for a while but then again I never used it as a lot of their listings where wrong. Cant say that I miss it actually.

Ummm ! Just got True 4 months ago, only gold, and never new they sent a guide every month. They send the bill to my address OK but no guide. Is there anywhere else in CM I can pay my bill other than Siam TV?

You can pay your bill at the True office at Kad Suan Kaew, near Tops.

I wouldn't miss that magazine. It's nearly worthless -- just a bunch of ads. I finally discovered the on-line channel guide that bdanner listed in post #6. It's not as good as their old on-line one, but it's much better than the magazine.

The program guide on the TV set isn't half bad, but Hubby objects to watching his show in the little box in the upper right corner if I take too long to plot out the weeks viewing with the on-screen guide, which takes up 3/4 of the screen.

Thank you for your comments NancyL but I live to the east of the city and Siam TV is the nearest to us.I would have thought they would have an agreement with 7-11 or Lotus to pay their bill.Never mind my wife (Thai) has seen most of the Tom and Gerry cartoons in HD ! Ohhh what have I done!

You can pay at the 7 11, I've been paying mine there for the past 8 years.

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand

That's really no worst than Hubby flipping between BBC and CNN so he can watch All-Ebola All-the-time is it? To each his own.
