jamiesilver Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Well done to the Thai Police!Nothing Like some Thai Police Propaganda for the International community to forget how incompetent and corrupt they really are.
waynethor Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 I hope that Phuket News makes a note to follow up on this story. Not at all interested in the fates of those arrested but would be very interested to know, in a years time, who is living in the seized properties below. Thai police have already seized properties that Chong and his associates bought in Phuket. These include four villas in Rawai, two villas in Rassada and a house in Land & House (where Kerng/Surin was arrested). I was thinking along the same lines. Maybe if we ever get the urge to refer to the BIB as being stupid, we should remember that they were smart enough to wait until this guy had purchased B240 million.worth of property that they can legally seize. If it was still in cash, claiming legal possession wouldn't be so straight forward.
