simple1
A small victory for the victims families. Pakistan arrests 43 over 'blasphemy' killings. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-29911857 I wouldn't even call it that as any one arrested for this crime will be tried in a Sharia Court and ultimately found not guilty. This action is purely and simply for the benefit of foreign news services, it will do absolutely nothing for religious tolerance in Pakistan. As the BBC report noted it was a false claim of blasphemy, there have been people arrested for making false claims of blasphemy in Pakistan (including an Imam) don't know if any sentences were imposed. In this case as two people were murdered as a result of false accusations, prison terms may be imposed. The judicial process in Pakistan is slow, hopefully at some point in the future we hear good news of sentencing.
ggold
And then there's Buddhism. One of the true "assets" of Thailand. If only the whole world was Buddhist. Would be a far more peaceful world. Tell that to the muslims in Myanmar! Buddist monks insighting violence against them. Having said that, It does appear that Islam is more violent than most. Benmart
People still believe this religion stuff?Approximatively 5 billion people? The commonest form of mental illness. One persons mental illness is concrete sanity to another. I prefer to live and Let Live.
