Former kid actor 'Patrick' fined for punching taxi driver

BANGKOK: -- A former child actor was arrested by Makkasan police last night after he started a fight with his taxi driver. As is often the case with former child actors, he was totally wasted.

While it seems only yesterday Chanon “Patrick” Makaramani played the precocious lakorn child “Mooyong” (pork floss), now he’s 18 and apparently our little Mooyong is old enough to celebrate Loy Krathong by punching his taxi driver in the face at 3am.

The driver then decided to hand him over to the police at a checkpoint in Makkasan district.

The intoxicated Mooyong reportedly resisted and yelled at police, claiming they would hurt him.

I realize it has already been posted 4 times, but I thought it so funny I just wanted to post it again.

But.....................many a true word spoken in jest. Think about how many well known child actors from the western countries ran off the rails later in life.

The quotes should have gone around "actor" and not his Western name.

Cute spoilt kid becomes total jerk: a universal theme there.

So if a farang punches a taxi driver, the farang will get a beating

I agree with Pattaya 28. Perhaps Sviz Geez has not ridden in many Thai taxis.

I would estimate as many as 50% cannot manage the simple process of picking up a passenger, driving them in a legal, timely fashion, straight to the destination asked, using the meter and not trying some kind of scam.

I use taxis to drive the same routes to work most days.

Hes not being racist but id agree, he could have worded things a little better,Thais in many cases do show little adult responsibility, low quality education, lack of common sense and forethought. Its not low intelligence so much just very bad education and a careless uber selfish corrupt establishment that sets the example...

The kid sounds just like many Thai teens.. not just celeb.
