PM invites Japan to develop Dawei-Eastern Seaboard link

PHUKET: -- The marketing manager of the Bangkok Hospital Phuket, Nicha Chiwangkul, died instantly at midnight last night (November 13), when the the car she was driving slammed into a light pole on Thepkrasattri Rd close to the intersection with the bypass road.

Influx of boat people a "huge burden for Thailand" - military spokesman

HM King's Intestine Inflammation Escalates

BANGKOK - His Majesty the King's condition of inflamed intestine appears to be escalating, according to the statement released by the Royal Household Bureau today.

The statement says that medical workers at Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, where King Bhumibol is residing, have detected an increase of the infection that has been afflicting his intestine in recent weeks.

The condition caused the 86-year-old monarch to have fever, stomachache, diarrhea, and increased heartbeat pace, the statement adds.

Doctors have administered new dose of medicine to His Majesty the King, which appears to alleviate the condition, according to the announcement. The king's fever is now reportedly reduced and his overall condition improving.
