It appears Sophon is trying to broadcast some new channels. They are having a few problems, require multiple reboots of the system.

Not too impressed yet. Where StarWorld used to be, they now have the "MNET SERIES". I saw a bit of a crappy Brit soap-opera called "The Bill", followed by a crappy re-run of "The Jerry Springer Show". Now it's an episode of Stargate SG-1.

Where Adventure 1 used to be is something called "Zone Reality", which appears to be more UK programming.

Time will tell I suppose.

Strange where they would get the mnet programming. The channel is owned by the South African Multichoice network, and as such aimed at the South African public...

Perhaps with a dish and something to decrypt the signal. Easily available in Pattaya.

Hi,

Where I live in Pattaya we have Banglamung Cable (BTV) and we also lost STAR WORLD and A1. They recently replaced them with the Disney Channel and Zone Reailty. :o

Have just caught a few hours of MNet Series over the last two days.

So far The Bill, Hollyoaks, Jerry Springer and X Files.

Not too keen on Jerry, but the wife loved and remembered it from her time in the UK. :o

Overall seems like a fairly watchable mix of English and US programs so far, and must admit that I liked seeing Hollyoaks and The Bill again, which brought a little bit of my old memories back here.

For me, preferable to Star world because of the English content.

Have not seen enough of Zone Reality to comment yet.

Mike.
