anyone know a pharmacy in pattaya i can get prednisone?

Ive gotten it for sciatica in the states in a tapering dose but all pharmacies say

they don't have it

A couple of pharmacies had prednisolone they could sell, I know it's basically the same but hardly used anymore in the states

Prednisolone also is prescription only. Illegal to buy or sell over the counter.

The main reason it is by prescription only is because it can mask the cause of your problems so care must be taken when using it. Not to mention the side effects which can be dangerous since it is basically a steroid

It is also one of the drugs that you must taper off the amount you use when you finally get off of it and this must be monitored by a physician or you can go into shock

Having had to use it for periodic bouts of Urticaria (hives) of unknown origin I hate the stuff but was the only thing that could stop the rash and itching, but always felt that the cure was worse than the disease when using it

you could also make the same argument for antibiotics some, non steroidal anti inflammatory meds yet they sell them OTC., I can see there can be more misuse of prednisone though
