Best hospital for natural birth in Chiang Rai

Featured Replies

Hi, everyone. I'm expecting a baby next year. I want to find a baby-friendly hospital for natural birth in Chiang Rai.

Any good recommendation? Thanks!smile.png

There are several western women in town who have had babies over the last couple of years and I remember one had a little trouble finding a doctor she was happy with. She did find one but I can’t remember the details.

She and others don’t use this forum, seeming to prefer Facebook and Line to keep in touch, which is understandable. In time I am sure you will develop a support group who will be able to help you deal with the many questions you will no doubt have. Good luck with your delivery and hope you enjoy living in Chiang Rai.

It is the OB-GYN that is more important... NOT the hospital.

Make sure you go into this with them agreeing to not do a c-section. Some in the past have done everything they can to get that extra money.

I put her in touch with a young British girl who went through all this a few years back and is a great resource, after checking to see if she was willing to help. I think she is in good hands now.
