December 8, 201411 yr I recently placed an order on Amazon International for a Fire 6 HD. Although the beginning price was $114, after $20 for shipping and customs tax of about $48, the final price came to $181 and change, so I didn't buy it. Instead, when I walked into CSC on the 3rd floor of Phantip, I found the HP Slate 6 VoiceTab selling for 4450 and bought it instead of the Fire 6. It has a great display and is snappy with Android 4.4.2 and a 1.2 GHZ quadcore processor. It doesn't have the quality speakers of my IQ 9.2 but it's lighter, has a bigger battery and charges fast. With my AIS voice/data plan, I'll be able to read my newspapers and books anywhere and make the occasional phone call too. Now I won't need that Fire after all!
