I am in Pattaya to see and eye specialist about a floater problem. I went for a walk last night and thought I would try a steak at a local restaurant. Well when it was served i couldnot believe how it looked. It was grey,not one sign of ever being near a grill or pan. I think they microwaved it. The chips that came with it were white. Absolutely no flavor,none nada. A tasteless meal if ever there was one.It was the special of the day a T-bone none the less.

How much did this feast cost you?

I would be interested to hear what this specialist says about floaters. I have just had a big one appear in my eye which is really annoying. I presumed there was nothing much that could be done.

Pattaya = yuk t-bone steak should be grilled and chips should be brown & crispy.

But don't give up hope just yet !! try another one somewhere else and let us know .....

I have 'floaters' in my eyes. I understood them to be a symptom of retinitus for which there is no cure?

By mistake I bought some beef at a local Isan outdoor market thinking it was pork. When I thawed to cook it, I discovered it was beef.

The specialist said no problem just aging. I was worried about a detached retina but not the case. He gave no cure just come back in a month and get another check up.

Was this a pork steak ? I have not seen a real steak yet in Thailand. Not by American standards any way.
