Pornchanok Chaiyapa and her husband, Somchai Kaewbangyang, both 47, were presented to the Criminal Court yesterday morning on charges of the premeditated murder of Yoshinori Shimato, unlawful detention, concealing and destroying a body to cover up murder, theft and electronic card fraud.The couple denied all charges and requested the court provide them with lawyers. That's obviously why they pleaded not guilty, thinking the old "deny, deny, deny" route the way to go. Hopefully, if found guilty later, the lying plea will increase the sentence. Assume they simply entered a plea of not guilty, until they are assigned a lawyer, which translated for this report to they denied all charges.
