bangon04
This is one of the occasions when the driver would be forgiven for fleeing the scene...
thaiguzzi
So, presumably, elephants can't just knock one out, a quick one off the wrist/trunk?

WheresWaldo
And most important, if a big male elephant smiles or winks at you, run like hell ! Carry lots of bananas and sugar cane bundles with you. Peace offering. Peace offering, my aƨƨ I'd rather pack a .460 Weatherby magnum or a .700 Nitro Express. One placed right between the eyes would finish the job.
Beng
Horny elephant defeats Toyota Vios in stomping competition By Coconuts Bangkok KHAO YAI: -- A bull elephant stressed out because he can’t get laid took his frustrations out on the vexing vehicles swarming his domain Saturday. After charging one vehicle which managed to escape, the elephant, believed to be about 8, stopped a Toyota Vios carrying four passengers through Khao Yai National Park and proceeded to mount the vehicle’s hood, flattening its front end. No one was hurt in the incident. "It's in heat," Veterinarian Patarapol Maneeorn explained in The Nation. When male elephants reach the age they start feeling the need to breed, they are forced out of their herds. spidermike007
In other words, just imagine these are wild, powerful beasts, who are not in their natural habitat. Imagine that they may not want to be friends with you. Imagine trying to show some respect to these wild beasts, and imagine trying to protect the little bit of peace and quiet they have remaining, in this habitat. I realize most Thai people have a very strange and peculiar relationship with quiet. Most do not seem to enjoy quiet. But, the animals feel differently. They do not enjoy noise like most Thai people do. So, try to wrap your head around a concept that is outside of your self, before visiting a national park with wild beasts roaming around! It is referred to as situational intelligence and awareness.
Bigfarang1948
Don't drive a car painted the same color as an elephant's skin, you dumb s...!!! Horny elephants in heat are like horny drunken tourists. If it remotely resembles its own species (Drunken humans don't realize their misperceptions until the next morning and see who they woke up with) they are going to try and screw it. Elephants are big mothers, and what is misconstrued as an attack is really their way of cuddling. Similar to the intimacy after a session of lovemaking in prison when Tiny takes a bride. As for the car being the same color as an elephant, that has nothing to do with it attacking the car, which bears no resemblance to any elephant, and for cuddling, the footage I saw of the enraged elephant jumping up and stomping on the hood of the car, does not resemble cuddling at all.
