Electrician To Fix Vacuum Cleaner

Recommended Posts

The maid plugged my Dyson into the wrong socket and burned out the motor several years back. It's taken my all this time to get a motor ... and now I cannot find an electrician.

Does anyone have an english (partly) speaking electrician they trust? This replacement vaccume couldn't suck swamp water.

I would think the electrical part is easy, what you need is a mechanic to take it apart and put the new motor in. Up until you mentioned the English speaking part, there are plenty of little repair shops that would give it a try, just about every [normal] neighborhood has one. There is a shop on Suan Plu, up towards Sathorn from Immigration that you might be able to sign language with sufficiently to get your point across.

Thanks. I just talked to an electrician who used to live in Bangkok. When I talked to him before and I said 'Dyson' he groaned. I believe not just about switching the motor out as there are most likely burnt wires. I'm not sure exactly what's up, but he did mention to pass on the street chaps.

Street chaps is what you need.

If they can fix my blown Xbox 360 - I am pretty sure they can fix a vaccum cleaner!

Or take it to Dombosco school on petchburi road. That college can fix anything ask for Father Tito and explain the problem.

Those guys got hold of an hold wrecked, non running Rolls Royce for a guy. Stripped it bare completely! rebuilt it, resprayed it and it runs as new for the owner.

Dyson wont be a problem :o and the payment goes to a good cause.
