Saxophone Bar soi 94 (all the way up the top), Thai Wai in Pak Nam Pran (opening a bar in Khao Takiab soon which will be much easier to get to)

Please inform us when the new bar opens up in Koh Takiab..this is great news ...hopefully one can smoke there too as you cannot at soi 94 bar sadly.

You can go outside and smoke your head off, then throw your cig butts in a bin.

While we are at it, can anybody recommend any good venues in Chiang Mai for good quality jazz, blues, etc? I am now living in CM after 30 years in Sydney and it's the only thing I miss.

Better asked in CM forum.

North Gate jazz bar

Took's (The new "brasserie" on the moat.)

Boy Blue at Night Market
