Where did Darwin come from?

He came from a gene pool situated on a small group of islands you've never heard of. Basically, he started out as a fish in that pool but managed to crawl out as a turtle then climb a tree as a monkey. The view from up top was so good he declared himself God and got murdered for his sins. Now we give thanks to him by giving awards to stupid people to remind us we are only three steps away from a mud bath.

Remember: fish + turtle + monkey = Darwin/God.

(On a small group of islands you've never heard of, and even if you found the place he ate all the dodos already.)

Codswallop. Darwin suffered from sea sickness, so never in creation could he have started out as a fish. You need to revise your theories.

He developed the sea sickness from blubbering around as a fish.

There are 480,000 earth scientists, geologists, archeologists, paleontologist and biologists that belong to the American Academy of Science. These are elite scientists

99.9% are backing Darwins theory.

Only the religious and FOX viewers are at war with reality.

The case is closed. Science has put this debate to bed. Darwin nailed it.

In 2005 scientists studying the human genome have proven the chromosomes are a perfect match with our ancestors, the chimp.

There is no missing link.

The religious just haven't kept up with the scientific literature.

By the way. The latest estimates for potential Earthlike planets in the Milky Way Galaxy is 20 billion planets. They are in the 'sweet spot' that may support life.

There are also over 400 billion galaxies.

So there could be 400,000,000,000 X 20,000,000,000 potential Earthlike planets out there.

based on some of the responses from some members, they must belong to the chimp side of the family...

But only one Pattaya.

Of course Darwin proposed the theory of natural selection, which is an observable phenomenon to a certain degree.

Evolution of complex organic ecosystems autonomously from a sterile non organic environment, was proposed at a later time.

this is not a theory.

it is a fairy tale. when the scientists do not find the right answer they will present you junk like this.

In science, a theory is not a hunch or wild guess. A scientific theory is a significant body of proof.

Since 1859 scientists have been scrutinising Darwins theory. So far, 99.9% agree.

Fact? Science?

Sweet Jesus

Man was created

Chimps are still chimps

Fish are still fish

Birds are not rats,

They are birds

Scientist's agree with what they are paid to study, and agree on

Even Sandjay Gupta changed his mind about marijuana, or accordingly to some here,

He "evolved"

I don't think that saying you "believe" in Darwinism is the correct way to put it. I accept the theory of evolution until something scientifically verifiable can can break the Theory, or replace it.

One possibility is that the Universe as we know it is just a computer simulation from a super-intelligent race of beings. A professor of quantum mechanics and supersting theory has stated that you bring the equations to their conclusion, you get a string of zeroes and ones. But not just any string: it's the checksum string developed in the 1940s and, to the best of my knowledge, still in use in programming computers today. What's even more fascinating is that the checksum can be found in our DNA. A relatively simple article that does a pretty good job of explaining this, with references, is http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread832446/pg1

I don't pretend to understand it, but there's a kind of symmetrical beauty to it all.

Quiet night ?

If you are referring to Darwin, it is rumored that he by-passed Thailand.

Yes, otherwise how would all these bitter old farang who retired here, and do nothing but moan all day, and the farang job-seekers, who aren't qualified to work in their own countries, have survived this long. According to Darwin (apparently now called Dawin) they should have been swept from the gene pool long ago.

evolution of the species...survival of the fittest...a fairy tale ???

I am old enough to have seen it happen even in my lifetime

When I was young antibiotics could kill all the bacterial infections in our bodies....however the fittest bacteria survived and multiplied so that now we are facing incurable infections such as MRSA

The story of creation of Adam and Eve is a fairy tale copied in Genesis during the 7th or 8th century BC from the Epic of Gilgamesh written 2800 to 2500 BC

If you are a believer in one single God of the Creation - as I do - you should accept that this God who could create our ancestors from clay (Bible) or from a drop blood (Quran) could also allow one species of the primates to develop brains that allowed them to become us.
