Best 10 little known island in Thailand

Featured Replies

Kho jum/jam over Lanta but not an awful list. Maybe the little kho Chang. Haven't been to pyham since 2007 so it must have changed.

Great list! Several of these are on my "bucket list"!

Just beware the misinformation in this article:

Best to get there on an overnight bus from Bangkok to Ranong in Trat Province.

Visit Ko Tarutao - The largest island in Thailand.

The nearest airport is Phuket and the islands are reached by ferry from Khao Lak.

Great idea to publicise a list of lesser visited islands. Easy to predict what will happen to them in a few years.

Hang on. There are islands in Thailand apart from Kho Larn, Phuket and Samui?? Who knew...

Koh Chang Ranong. Overnight bus ??? Nope fly.

On the bus you arrive stiff, sore and tired, flight is a bit more expensive but only a 2hr flight, van picks you up at the airport and straight to the boat.

Unfortunately now there is only one company flying there Nok, Happy air which I used last time is no more.

Going next month for the 5th time
