It's that time of the year, once again, when those of us with satellite subscriptions will find our TV screens going blank for around 10-15 minutes during the middle of the day while our dishes and satellite are perfectly lined up with the sun.

I have, however, come across the following online predictor which provides useful info on between what dates, and for how long on each day, we can expect our TV screens to go dark each spring and autumn - provided, of course, that we know from which satellite(s) our TV service is coming. Beware, though, the times given do appear to be 2 hours ahead of local Thai time for some mysterious reason:
